The wine
CHARDONNAY
ELEGANT, FRAGRANT & TEXTURED
Margaret River has established an international reputation for exceptional Chardonnay. The Cape Mentelle style draws inspiration from traditional methods to deliver a wine displaying aromatic complexity and a finely textured palate with a long, clean finish.
CABERNET MERLOT
BALANCED, ROUNDED, GENEROUS
This blend seeks to capture the depth and structure of cabernet sauvignon with the dark fruit and plush flavours of merlot; small amounts of shiraz and cabernet franc complement the blend for a well-rounded, rich style with exquisite balance.
SHIRAZ
BOLD, GENEROUS & EXPRESSIVE
Taking inspiration from the most traditional techniques in order to highlight our ideal temperate, maritime climate for this classic Australian variety. The fruit is partially destemmed, berry sorted, cold soaked and traditionally fermented.
CABERNET SAUVIGNON
PRECISE, INTENSE & ELEGANT
Cape Mentelle has a rich history of exceptional quality and consistency with Cabernet Sauvignon from a pioneering producer in Margaret River in the early 1970's to a benchmark winery today. Our Cabernet Sauvignon is the culmination of an intensely detailed approach to our vineyards and grape selection.
